Cherry Picker Hire
Poulton Vans have been supplying quality used commercial vehicles nationwide for over 30 years. We have extensive
knowledge in this sector and have decided to put this knowledge to use in other areas. We are now running
a specialist hire company to run alongside our existing business. We will specialise in the
supply and hire of platform access vehicles or more commonly known as Cherry Pickers.
Whether you are repairing street lights, cutting down trees, painting a building, erecting a sign, fitting cameras
or even cleaning a gutter there are so many advantages for using a cherry picker.
We are able to offer a variety of vehicles with various different size platforms from 10.5M upto 14M.
General Conditions of Business
- Comprehensive Insurance provided
- Insurance only provided for named drivers
- All vehicles covered by AA membership, subject to conditions
- Drivers to be aged 25-70 and to have held full Driving Licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Hirer responsible for up to the first £750 of damage, No Collision Damage Waiver
- Hire payment and £200 refundable deposit required on booking
- Payment by Credit or Debit Card
- Hirers must provide both parts of Driving Licence (if old style then Licence and Passport) and 2 further proofs of current address
- No more than 2 speeding or Technical Offences
- Mileage allowance of 300 miles/day with 5p/mile surcharge
- Valeting charge of £25 if not returned in clean condition
- Hire limited to UK Mainland
